Back to being a great app

Previous version was sweet — lots of animations to pick from and they looked great in the menu bar. Version 3.0 comes with only 3 animations and on my iMac running High Sierra with 2 monitors it’s just a white box on a black menu bar. Worthless. Hopefully the developer will address the issue. If you have a previous version, I suggest you don’t update. UPDATE: I wrote the above review on 1/24 and the developer quicky fixed the issue. And a running human was added. Loving this app again.

Almost purrfect!

This is a great app that lets you know if your Mac is being overloaded, and can show you quick readable stats! I love the animations and the characters, plus the character creator tool. The only thing holding it from being purrfect is the lack of temperature sensor support, I'd love to see my Mac temperatures. I think it would be a nice additional extension that could add a new animation, maybe making something sweat by higher heats. Or maybe a gradient in the characters as the temperature? I think there is a lot that can be done. Regardless, its a fun tool and I really like it!

Adorable app

I have never used any of system monitoring app for everyday use. on occation they were useful for a troubleshooting, but for a daily basis? nah. it felt so pointless. Until This App the in-app purchase buisiness model were also neat. it is totally harmless and I would willingly spend extra bucks.

I love this app, BUT battery notification is needed

Imagine sending out super cute cat-related battery state notifications. All the other apps of this kind have low/high battery notification, so I hope the developer can find the time and energy to do this. I would definitely consider paying once the functionality side of the app becomes on par with its competitiors. I already have istat but ould love to keeo this app just for the cats alone...LOVE!

Revised rating for 2019 (UPDATE AVAILABLE!)

What was once a simple, great app has fallen victim to the Andrew Wilson mindset of consumption - everything that was once taken for granted as a basic feature is now hidden behind a paywall. Looking forward to the original cat also becoming a "DLC". What a joke. UPDATE: Why on earth is the developer pushing out changes EVERY DAY?! Can you please just leave some animations as defaults and hide the rest behind your paywall, without having to update every day? This is the third time in 3 days there's an update available. I'm very tempted to find another app to do this task.

So Adroable

This is the most adorable app I ever used on my Mac! I like having something moving in the background while I'm working. I used to have htop constantly running but now I found this! THE MOST SWEET CAT!

Love it, but lost my purchases

This is one of my favorite apps, very cute, but I lost access to the special runners I paid for with one of the updates. My favorite runner was the octopus and now I'd have to pay a second time in order to get access to it. :( Doesn't seem to be any real way to contact the developer either.

Its like having a live pet in my laptop!

However when I tried to change the graphic, it suddenly disappeared from my menu bar. I am unable to close/launch this app :( please help!

Let me state it clear and loud: I seek exactly this app for a years. Nothing is better to check whether xcodebuild working down there by looking at a parrot messing around.

Love This App

This is perfect for when I am producing and my pluggins are using up a lot of my CPU. Often I run around 80-95% CPU usage so it's really nice have this app in my menu bar letting me know how much i'm using.

This is pretty cute, but not great for performance.

This is def the cutest app in the app store, but unfortunately - even when my menu bar is hidden - it just sits around sucking up all of my battery. Would be great to see it working a little more efficiently, but I can't use it for now :(

Love it!

Just bought the puppy icon to support the developer, but there are a TON of awesome free icons! I love this because it's a simple way to tell when my dev environment starts going insane. :D

it's good, but still want the color back

color color, i want the acent color back~ one more thing, using new version , the icons are much too small. i don't know whether it conflicts with bartender 4 or not. but when i check the "show in the menu bar", it become nomal. btw, mine's macos 13.3 intel chip.

New Update

Very good BUT new update makes all runners cropped and enlarged. I have a mac. Hope this helped!

Sometimes this app will glitch and take up most CPU resource.
