Only started playing last night and I’m hooked!
I’m totally obsessed with this game! I love how you have a friend to help you on a level and on some levels you can pick which one you want to use and that it even recommends which one has a better chance of helping you out to win. I love the different activities, the dunking cooking and freeing the octopus are my favorite levels. I’m already on level 56 to say that I’ve only been playing since last night. I read some other review on here that said it’s a mix of Soda Crush and the original Candy Crush. I couldn’t agree more. The only thing I don’t like is that with the piggy bank you earn gold bars if you win the level which can come in handy but have to pay $4 to open it. I won’t be using that feature too often, only when I really need it. But other than that, I have no other complaints. This isn’t my first Candy Crush game either, I’ve tried and played all of them 😃.

ADS
The ads in this game are starting to get ridiculous! And if you choose not to watch them at the beginning of a level, it doesn’t seem to want you to beat it and will try everything in the world to keep you from it. Also, it’s giving out things like the lollipop hammer and stuff and then almost making sure you have to use it and don’t keep it and then they bombard you with ads and stupid stuff that don’t add up to anything and the ads start taking the absolute longest 30 seconds I believe I have ever lived thru. I hate it. The ads aren’t ever anything I can relate to and most of the ads are scams. I’d hate to see what happened if you downloaded some of these bingo or slot games and actually gave them your bank info or your debit card. That kind of stuff is dangerous and I’m seriously considering deleting the app. You’re basically playing for costumes. Most of the characters don’t even help you or they send help into places where you have no chance of using it. It’s becoming too much and it isn’t worth it. I have literally made one single move and wiped the entire level now that I’m up to almost 500 and it STILL put me at having the very last highest score and gave me 2 stars. Whatever. Edit: I took away my two stars and gave it one. If I was able to find any other game that was challenging and that I liked enough, I’d stop playing this completely. The pay walls are getting ridiculous. It won’t let you save your boosters, it won’t allow you to keep gold. I’m so over it.

In app purchases: depressing, but here to stay?
I really don’t like the trend of in-app purchases in games, but it looks like they’re here to stay. I’d much rather buy a game for a fair price than be goaded along into buying coins or fruits or whatnot constantly. I usually don’t even try a game if I see it has in-app purchases, but I somehow missed this for Candy Crush Friends. I got into playing it, but said I’d never go for the kind of in-app purchases that only let you play a little more. I got prompted several times to purchase the piggy bank once it “got full” and wouldn’t accept the gold bars needed to continue a failed game. Finally I said, “okay, I’ll buy the piggy bank, that’s a fair price to make it go away and let me accumulate gold bars from now on. I was then surprised that it didn’t make the piggy bank go away, rather it just emptied it temporarily, and the $3.99 charge will have to be paid again and again, the exact type of in-app purchase I loathe. I thought the lack of clarity of this purchase was deceptive and typical of the in-app purchase model at its worst, and it took any fun out of the game for me. I’ve deleted the app even though I just made a $3.99 purchase (in fact, BECAUSE of the $3.99 purchase), and will be much more wary of which games i try in future.

Too Many Glitches
I like this game quite a bit and think it is the best of the Candy Crush Saga. However, there are too many glitches and failures to update. I’ve been signed out and sent back about 1000 levels (luckily this only happened once), losing all of my boosters in the process. Recently, I earned a reward for completing 10 quests but didn’t actually receive the award. Now, there’s some event with the jelly queen or whatever she is...I got the notifications for the event and she shows up when I start the game, but I can’t take part in the event because it doesn’t show up. My app is updated, I’ve completely closed it and reopened, etc, and nothing works. I also agree with the criticisms about the gold bars. All that said, it’s a pleasant-enough way to waste a few minutes here and there, and unlike the first Candy Crush game, I haven’t been stuck on a level for more than a few days (as opposed to weeks). I recommend it if you just want to space out for a little bit, but there are other similar games with better rewards and more consistent updates that actually work if that’s what you’re looking for.

About to be deleted no matter how fun
No matter how fun this game is, you’ll eventually have to spend money, which is not what I want to do. If you don’t want to spend $4 to $8 a week every once in a while, AFTER you’ve already become addicted to the game...WALK AWAY NOW. I’ve been playing long enough to reach level 300 and I have 80% of the characters, and it’s a fun game. BUT...I’ve encountered several levels that REQUIRE more than the number of moves you get to complete it, which requires you to purchase coins and all. I’m on one now where I’ve been on this level for four days now. No matter what characters you play, it can’t be finished. I come within a move or two of finishing the round most of the time. I play maybe three or four times a day since you only have 5 lives (I can’t wait around for another life or ask for em or pay for em). I have already restocked that goofy piggy bank twice...I refused to pour any more money into this to complete a level. The game is stingy with the lollipops and other extras. I said the last time I got stuck like this that if I go more than five days stuck on a level? I’m not buying coins to finish it. The game is getting deleted. Looks like it’s about to go bye bye.

Disappointing
I must say I am rather disappointed with the new Candy Crush Friends Saga. I was super excited about the new game! However, I like a game that will give me a little challenge. This game is easy. Too easy. I recommend getting Candy Crush Saga. If you like a challenge. The game itself is pretty cool. For me it’s the levels, they’re just to easy. If you don’t want a challenge, than this game is probably just right for you. After I tried the game again... Oh my goodness! I was so wrong. I only played the first few levels, and based my previous review on that. I was then told that if I go till level 35- 40 it gets better. I find it has so many cool things to it. There are cookies that you have to get to the bottom of the screen, hearts you have to get into a box, and so many more things that even I haven’t discovered. I definitely suggest this game. You just have to get into it.

Frustration.
This game is entertaining. I do like it. HOWEVER...some things drive me crazy, and not in a good way: 1. The worst (to me) is the manner of controlling lives. The inability to save some up, or even request refreshers unless I’m missing lives, is annoying beyond what I want to experience over a game. The refill rate is King’s 30 minute standard. Obviously they are doing this in money-making fervor—and they ARE a business—but I think it may backfire with this user. The thing is, most users don’t have hours of open time to play. If I want to play during lunch hour whilst eating, it would be nice if I could prolong the experience. 2. The dancing characters waste a precious bit of time during each round. It would be nice if King limited the dancing to the first 20 or so “introductory” rounds at the very beginning of the game. It started out cute, true, but like the three year old at home who was adorable pouting for attention the first time...it wears one out.

Best Candy Crush yet, but needs a bit of help
First off I love this game and how you make characters that can help you in the game. They make the special candies and it’s super fun! I’m already on level 128 after two weeks. But I was a little upset with Candy Crush’s customer service... I asked them if they have the possibility to turn off the suggestions of the candies to match. The customer service guy was very rude and said “you can just ignore them”. And then I said, I was just trying to help make a suggestion and said it could be a setting where people can turn it off if they want. And I added, “I’d appreciate better customer service”. He edited his answer not a minute after reading my comment, to make him look “less rude”. I hope all their customer service isn’t like this... All in all I gave it a 4 star rating because I enjoy the game. I just wish their customer service could take from the players and add a few new stuff to the game.

Too much extra money & lagging candy
I love candy crush games. I always have. But this latest one has been kinda errrking me. As other reviewers have said, what is the point of giving us gold bars in our piggy bank if we have to pay you guys to use them?! If we pay to get the gold bars unlocked, then why would you lock the piggy bank again and charge us again?! Why can’t we earn gold bars without the charges?! Also, I have noticed on a lot of levels, if I mix the striped candy with the wrapped candy, it will only take care of some of the candies. For example; the levels with the jelly. If I mix those two candies together, it only fills squares with jelly with where the mixed candies started. It doesn’t spread out and make all the squares jelly that it touches. And the fish go to places that are not even a little bit helpful anymore. Most of the time the fish go to places that were already fine/taken care of. I lose levels bc this and then have to turn around and buy more lives bc I can’t use my gold bars. Disappointing.

Special power not so special
This is addition fun Soda’s game which I found really annoying sometime. 1st I know developer tries to make the game cute with those animated characters jumping around when starting level but, after awhile, it can be annoying with those. 2nd price for buying stuffs in this game is expensive comparing to other soda’s game. 3rd Not much magic power to help you thru the game. It takes forever to finally get special candies..... 4th this one I found it annoying the most, once you got special power, eg. you get extra fish when character collects enough required color candy to make special candy, that extra gift IS NOT helping at all. For me, it tends to mess my move and it just seems like it not helping but make thing more difficult. This happens not once but all the time! If the extra gonna mess my move, I rather don’t have it.

GIMME YOUR MONEY!
Unlike the other Candy Crush games, this one does not allow you to earn gold bars through game play. Let me rephrase: you “earn” the bars, just like in the other CC games, but in this one these bars go into a Piggy Bank. Every time your Piggy Bank is full (30 bars), the game tells you that you must empty your Piggy for $3.99 or else you won’t be able to accumulate more bars. Translation: you have to buy the gold bars, one way or another. Your $$ will go super fast if you do this. A mere five levels of 3-star play will put you at 30 bars! That’s crazy! There’s also no retry button the first time you fail to complete a level, which is annoying. No site map either, which could become a problem as you advance to higher levels but want to revisit previous ones to fulfill challenge requirements. Lastly, the animated characters waste too much time, too, performing their antics and taking time away from actual game play. Kids probably like it, but for those who prefer not to see these animations, a SKIP button would be much appreciated.

Are You Kidding?!!
Play to win a level and be rewarded with gold bars. 1 for each star. BUT, you don’t actually get them unless you pay $4.00 for them. And that’s for only 30. The bank gets full at 30and until you fork over 4 bucks, you can’t earn anymore. This could be a fun game, but I refuse to pay for something I earned. You got too big for your britches and think you can hoodwink people. Give me what I earn for free or charge for the game outright. EDIT: So, I’ve been playing this for a while now, and it just gets more ridiculous as you go on. You play forever to finally get a “bonus” that lasts for 2 hours. But, you’re already on your last life. So the 2 hour bonus only lasts for one round unless you happen to be lucky enough to actually win on the first try. Now you have to wait 20 minutes just to get a new life, or spend $4.00 to buy another. Seems it would make more sense to give unlimited lives with that 2 hour bonus you’ve played for days or weeks to win. Guess the developers are too greedy for that.

Fun game but needs slight inprovements
Very fun game to play. An issue I have with it is that it takes "forever" to explore previously completed worlds and levels, which I like to do to get a better star count or enjoy extra fun completed levels. Another issue is that the bonus items(lollipop smash, gold bars etc.) are way too difficult to attain. They are so hard to come by I don't want to even use them because I will not get another one for ages, and the only way to purchase the lollipop bonus items is with a gold bar bundle of 30 dollars or more and thats for only 12 total lollipop bonus items. The amount of items you get for the price isn't acceptable, the player deserves more for his or her hard earned money. If these issues are addressed I would give this game 5 stars. Started playing a week ago and I am already passed level 270, definitely enjoyable! Just consider fixing the issues I mentioned.

Gets boring fast!
The game is pretty good when it comes to graphics and smooth gameplay, but it gets boring very quickly. I’ll explain. The levels are kinda all the same, like you have to either spread the jelly around, moving the hearts to its boxes, and freeing the gummy bears. That’s it. Of course, it gets harder as you progress through the game, but its just the same type of challenge over and over. The only good thing is that you can get different characters and level them up and they help you through the game. Its not a bad game but it didn’t catch my attention enough to keep it. Also, the power ups are nearly impossible to get and they are all the same too. At the point im at in the game, i have 3 power ups and all 3 are lollipops that do the same thing lol. Its quite worthless, they do the same thing, but some lollipops do more damage than the other. The music will put you to sleep too. I guess it just wasn’t for me.

Candy Crush+Candy Crush Soda=Friends
Taking a few elements that make Candy Crush Soda more enjoyable than regular Candy Crush and you have a game that plays more enjoyably than Regular Crush. Even adding being able to put four like candies together to form a square is a great thing. Adding more power ups that do not take a slow grind thru levels to get is another high point! Having a choice of unlock-able power up characters at the beginning of levels does add a little more choice and perhaps a sweet dash of strategy to the Match Three game. Match three games, of which C.C. Friends is one, are sorely in need of something to keep you playing that does not involve micro transactions or grinding thru levels. I’ve played the first 30 levels. It has been a good start. It is to early yet to judge if this will this be a game you will want to keep playing. I hope so...

Some suggestions
I like the vividness of the game as well as the choice of which animated player to use. The game is fun and challenging. However, I dislike the way in which prizes are given out and that there isn’t a way to earn more useful objects to beat certain levels. Most times I can only get one or two levels played then I am out of turns. The gifts that come up for meeting certain challenges are slim... like just two more points or sometimes maybe even one. It takes forever to not only progress in the game but to also earn objects that help in the harder levels. I am going to keep playing because it’s fun. But since both this game and Candy Crush have raised their prices I will not be buying extra lives etc... your a billion dollar company that just showed some greed with a substantial price increases.

It is pretty good
It is fun to play and they do have a little bit of a twist in this game from the original Candy Crush. It has already become a little challenging and I am definitely a little addicted already. Was definitely worth my time. I only have one annoyance and that is the piggy bank. I have been known to buy things in apps, but don’t tell me I’m earning something then at the last minute tell me it’s $3.99. If you want to do that then just do a quick pop up saying 30 bars for $4. And even if you do the whole earn the bars deal and want us to pay I could be ok with that, but after I say no I don’t want it don’t keep showing it to me EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. It gets extremely annoying and aggravating to have to watch that little clip where it tries to put the bars in and then having to tell it no every time. If I don’t want it I’m not gonna get it. Anyways that’s my rant. Other than that it’s a cute fun game.

Good game, but annoying!
The game itself is really fun, BUT... between games there's always lots of really long animations, and most of them can't be dismissed, you just have to sit through them, and even though they're only a few seconds long, it adds up when there's like five animations between each game. It's just too much. Now for the really annoying thing... It doesn't preserve your game if you switch to another app or if your phone locks. I could understand if your game disappeared if you switched to another app for hours. But a few seconds to read a text message or something and you have to start over. Incredibly annoying because you have to sit through the start up again (which takes forever) but even more so if you're in the middle of a game where you're doing really well and boom, it's gone. I put my phone down for a few seconds to tell my kids goodnight and my phone locked. I woke it up right away, but the app had closed and my game was gone. King, you can do better.

App Needs Work
Had the app about a month. I’m at level 91 but it took three days to get through 90. I haven’t purchased anything and never will. Getting tired of the app telling me my gold coins are full and I need to buy them for $3.99. This app needs work. Several times during play it “reboots” and reshuffles. When this happens I know I’ll never win. At about level 50, the app just stopped playing audio. No matter what I do, there’s no sound and I’ve never been able to give myself a name, I’m just a player. ☹️ Freeing all the animals and filling all the hearts gets old. I like spreading the jelly but many times when I click a striped egg and move it towards two of the same color, I get ripped off and it only gives me credit for one of the boxes. Frustrating. But anyway, I’m still playing, at least for now...but probably headed to deleting the app cause I’m not going to pay or go through another level 90 again. Just like all the other Candy Crushes. 🤨

Bugs
I love this game but it has a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. I’m not the only one that has these problems with it. I have friends and family that play it too and they’ve all had the same problems. Seems on some levels it’s just a waste of time because the game doesn’t give us the credit for out correct moves. It just leaves them like we never done anything. Fish go to areas that have already been targeted, jelly doesn’t roll where it always should. A lot of things on different levels. Like I said, I love to play this game but I do waste a lot of time trying to win a level that is clearly marked for the game. I just turn it off and leave it alone for a few days. I know I’ll eventually get fed up and delete it. I don’t like wasting my time when there’s no chance of winning.

Endless money pit
I have played candy crush for years and have loved it, so naturally I was excited about Candy Crush Friends. This game is definitely a charged up and more entertaining version of the original game mixed with some of the fun features of the other crush games. Why the two stars then. What you don’t know until you start playing, is that all of the gold bricks you “earn” for your high scores on each level are added to a piggy “bank” and in order to cash in your bank, you have to pay $3.99. I figured 4 bucks to unlock the bank seems a little steep but I’d pay it to keep the good bars I earn. Ohhhh no!! Not the case! You have to pay $3.99 EVERY time you want to cash in your bank, which is 30 gold bars. You can earn 3 gold bars per level depending on your score so your paying 4 bucks to have access to the bars YOU earn every 10 levels!! Are you kidding me??? That’s a shady rip off! Beware of this charge. Does you no good to earn good bars then have to pay for what you earn. 👎🏼

Bad Garbage deletes after high score
They did it again. I was up tp 1000 and they started me over to zero. Furthermore, I got to a very high score over the thousands, 5 times And since I didn’t give it a good review it stopped working it’s a piece of garbage it doesn’t work at all piece of garbage piece of garbage piece of g. I start it all over 5 times and this is The 5th Time erases my high score over 1000 to 2000. I was up to 1200 the 2nd time and it deleted it. Every reward I earn conveniently disappears. The rewards are not prizes all they want you to do is purchase things. And then I would earn a lot of points a lot of levels and rewards and when I come back they would all be missing it wouldn’t save your place and you press one thing and it gives you another thing and then the rewards that we have disappear and then it doesn’t work again this is a piece of garbage. Also they take your gold bars you’ve earned. It just did deleted my score again today. Garbage just deleted me again for 10 time.

Fun But Don’t Ever Pay for Help Items
I like playing the game but was furious when I discovered it will cheat you out of your bonus items and/or in-game helpers like the fish. Don’t ever buy anything to use in game play!!! You can choose to buy extra lives, bonus items, longer play, etc. but the game will cheat you out of what you brought by not using the items in a way that helps you in your play. For instance, the fish are special items in that you can use them to blow up the stuff you need to clear from the board (like octopuses). However, instead of the game using them during your turn to hit stuff that you need to clear off the board, it makes the fish blow up a square that has nothing in it thereby wasting the fish. There are a ton of other things like that that it does to make it more difficult to clear the level rather than help you. You end up throwing your money away for nothing. Basically it’s a major scam!!

Candy crush friends
Candy crush friends is like the most addicting game I got 2 days ago and it’s the only game I play. ITS AMAZING. I see a lot of reviews talking about the animations and I want to tell you that yes they are cartoons and they dance a lot but that’s what makes the game fun. If it didn’t have those dancing animations and cute little friends the game would be boring. And the title clearly says candy crush FRIENDS soooooo if you don’t like the friends then you should have read about the game before you got it. I’m also seeing a lot of reviews on the piggy banks I agree that there is no point of earning and then paying but if you could just earn all the gold bars the game would be to easy and you could beat very easy and to fast to actually enjoy the game. So overall it’s my new favorite game and absolutely awesome

Fun game but ALWAYS seems to need one more move
This is a really fun game BUT I noticed that I find myself always needing just ONE MORE MOVE in most levels almost ALL THE TIME so they either force you to (1) use your hammers/wrapped special candies, (2) use your gold bars to extend the game, (3) buy special candies/gold bars, or (4) quit. I NEVER buy anything and I’m so far into the game that I don’t have any special candies/gold bars left so I just quit and hope for the best on he next game. It’s just so annoying that I have to believe that the game puts you in that situation in order to get more people to want to pay. Bravo to the game designers then for making the game that way but it does get tiresome playing the same level over and over and over again and getting soooo close with just needing one more move but I REFUSE to pay so I will remain patient. Eventually, I am able to beat the board but it sometimes takes 10-20 times.

Love it 😍 Thank you!
I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 5. Reason is that they gave away a full week of unlimited lives during this pandemic. I think that is awesome, and have loved every minute. It did not stop me from refilling my piggy bank, either! Thank you, Candy Crush for making life less lonely! There are too many hard and super hard levels right in a row. I am up to level 200+ and every other level seems to be hard or super hard. I get the feeling some of these levels are too hard to pass without using paid powerups or continues. Game is fun and addicting enough that I have bought the piggy bank a few times already. But it is not sustainable and I will eventually lose interest and move on to another game.

AWESOME..but....
Definitely the best to date Match 3 genre game. Lots of action and creative twists/options. Would be a 5 but I almost made it a 3 because of the PIGGY BANK. As someone who is a “completionist” with a little OCD, it’s frustrating to see at the end of EVERY LEVEL that my Piggy Bank is full n I’m “missing out” on additional rewards or whatever because I have to empty it.....no problem, EXCEPT emptying it COST 3.99! I’m NEVER going to empty it. Ever. All it is is Gold which can be used to continue a level when u run out of moves. Now I’m not against spending some money on a game; especially one that I’m thoroughly enjoying. I understand to “support the Creators”, but this is a CONSTANT reminder on something that I wouldn’t have purchased to begin with. Get the animation out of my life please and I’ll make sure to change this to 5 stars AND send 3 more 5 star reviews from my kids account.

Too expen$ive and intrusive tutorial/hints
Pretty fun game. Everyone knows how to play these match 3 games and this one adds some fun twists on the game. A few disappointments will keep this off the Best Of lists until addressed. The in-app purchase are truly ridiculous. The only way to extend a game is to pay 10 gold bars, which you earn with high scores, but wait. The bars go into a piggy bank, and when “full” at 30 bars, you can buy them for $3.99 real money. That’s $1.33 every time you want to add 5 turns to the end of one game, nearly as much as many entire games cost. This is rampant greed that no one should reward. I made the mistake once, never again. Regarding game play, as I mentioned, we all know how match 3 works. But I am well into the game (over 150 levels) and the game still stops me in mid-play to highlight the fact that I can combine multiple pieces into a special piece. You have to hit “skip” every time this happens. The game them stops you to tell you you can use a lollipop to break pieces in the game, which must again be dismissed to continue. There is no way to turn these annoyances off, and other reviewers here have noted that the developer’s response is “just ignore them.” For some reason I’m still playing but every day I get closer to deleting this otherwise fun game because of a few really annoying issues.

Disappointed
I used to love this game! In fact, I have all the candy crush games on my phone and I’ve played this one the most ever since I’ve downloaded it. As of recently I have been going through the levels and when I fail I try to click through so I can restart the level and without confirmation it makes me use my gold for a few more moves. Now I am a saver (or hoarder as my boyfriend likes to call me) with my power-ups and gold and I understand that this game makes money when you buy upgrades but forcing me to use my hard earned and saved gold is just ridiculous!! I plan for the long term and want to use them when I choose to! I am now totally disheartened after losing my last 10 bars (I used to have 40 and I have never once wanted to use them when I did). I’m not saying the game is bad and I’m not sure if it’s a bad placement of the button or my “too-quick” fingers but I would appreciate an “are you sure” button before automatically making me use what I don’t want to. Very frustrating.

Tired of playing
The game is fun in the beginning and I do enjoy the friends aspect of the game but I find it rather boring to have to play the same level roughly 15 times or more in order to beat it. I understand that not every level can be easy but also don’t enjoy being constantly stuck. Another irritating quirk of the game is when it changes the color of candy when it seems like you may actually be making progress in a level to ensure that you don’t beat it. I also don’t understand why we need to waste time watching the characters dance around and have our scores compared to others especially when you’ve finally gotten a booster. Which is another area of frustration because those normally only seem to be awarded when you’ve got one life left. WOW, BUMMER
I can say l have enjoy playing the game as far as the concept. It surpasses the original Candy Crush. It was very frustrating reopening the game to find out that l had to replay several levels to get back to the level I previously completed. This happened especially across saving between my iPhone and iPad. Today took the cake however. I completed level 192 and all of a sudden boom the app shut down. It just stopped working all together on my iPad. Of course, I have checked my iPhone and the it is not synced as usual. I deleted the app on my iPad and reloaded just to be able to write this review. When I tried to reopen the app, it show the King logos for a few seconds then it goes away; cannot load any further. Game is useless to me. Only gave it a 2 star because at least you can play it to level 192. Maybe King Games was upset with me because I never made an in app-purchase while playing the game. Oh well, bye bye King see you in another life I guess.

Billing Issues. Game is fun BUT avoid purchases
I have been playing Candy Crush Friends since it was released. Generally a fun game. For over a month I have been double and triple billed for purchases. I have written to customer service at app and contacted Apple about the issues I’m experiencing. The customer service from app state all issues can be resolved by downloading the latest version of the app. I have most current version and checked for an update in case I missed something but no newer version as of Friday May 15, 2020. The issue is if I purchase something I get a message saying “all set.” Then when that screen disappears there is a message saying “something went wrong.” If I purchase again they charge twice for the same thing. Apple does nothing about this and neither does the app folks. Ripped off over $15 on Friday. No one will do anything about this. Will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Deleted app. Too bad because I did like the game but hate getting ripped off.

Upset about in app purchases - SHADY
I would much rather pay a one time fee to buy the game instead of having in app purchases to pay 3.00$ to get gold coins out of that silly piggy bank from earning stars. It feels shady and a sneaky way for you to earn money consistently. If the game allows gold bars to be earned by how I perform on a level then I should earn them and not pay money to transfer them out of that piggy bank. I won’t pay that money ever so it shows the pig full and gold coins that can’t fit in it - another shady feature. Yuck. I love being able to play a mindless game to take stress off of everyday work and kids but your in app purchases should go away and the gold bars should be earned per level and I can decide within the game when and how to spend them because I earned them. It’s a waste of money otherwise to continue to spend it here and there to improve my game experience. It feels like y’all are a sales people taking advantage of your own loyal fans of the game. :-(

Fix this please!
My only issues with this game are these: 1. it takes forever to scroll to get back to your world, or the other worlds you’ve completed. 2. The little friends that are supposed to help you, aren’t that much help sometimes. If I get all my candies for them to activate their “help” then it should help. Not completely put me in a situation where I have 3 moves left and can’t win the level. 3. Are the move algorithms messed up? Because I feel like I’m trying to best these levels, but dont have the opportunity to with the amount of moves they give. 4. The sticker idea is cool, to get rewards or costumes for your friends, but it takes forever to get them. I’m on level 80 as of now, and have completed one sticker reward.. Other than that, I’m a candy crush addict and I’ll play till the day I die. Without a doubt!

Not the best
I love candy crush. I’m over level 1000 on candy crush soda so when a new game came out I wanted to play it. I’ve had it for some time and I’m just so frustrated. The idea of “friends” that help you is great. BUT they don’t help you enough to not get stuck on one level forEVER. I’m not one to pay for boosts so I have to wait weeks to even get ONE lollipop which is ridiculous. there is never an infinite lives timer and you’re stuck for days and days on one stupid level. I get about 15 every 2-3 hours of playing this game and that’s dumb to me. I’m tryna waste a good deal of time once a day not 15 minutes every couple hours. I also with there was a way to preview the level before I choose my character. It’s super frustrating for a character to be “recommended” and then I go in and realize the character is not the best option and thus I’ve wasted a precious life.

Only three things bad. 1. Not all my friends get lives and I don’t receive lives from all my friends. (Only 3). 2.you should be able to unlock the piggy bank without paying for it if you wait for it to fill up. A suggestion would be to put a higher limit on the piggy bank before you can unlock it automatically. 3. I like reading the messages and what the challenges are. They go by in a split second so you don’t even know what or how much you need to collect. Oh and 4. When you’re on the same level with someone you Can’t tell who it is because their icon is to small. If there is more than one they just stack and you don’t know who else is at your level like the original game. I do really love the game. I keep going from my phone to my kindle so I can play longer. I hope this helps.

What a scam!!!
Let me start by saying the I really do enjoy playing this game. However... I can’t help but feel that this game is a scam. There are levels that seem impossible to pass without a boost. My progress resets to day one way too often. And the icing on the cake!! The game resets and doesn’t save my progress quite often. I’ll finally pass a level I’ve been working hard at, and had to use a boost on. I’ll put the phone down for a sec, because life is happening outside of my phone. I’ll pick it back up and low and behold the game resets and it’s as if I never went through passing the level. But I did lose said boost. Your system is advanced enough to record me using a boost, but not passing a level. Hmmmmmm?? Also, idk how many times while playing those cute little fish “choose” to attack something that has already disappeared or a chocolate sprinkle ball. Seems like the strategy is to keep you buying boost or playing longer. But the out coke for me has been pure frustration.

Thank You❣️
I’ve been playing for over a year and truly enjoy the game, sometimes when I merge a Coloring Candy and a Candy Bomb, I feel the blast should be epic and clear the board. I’ve done a few levels where I’d does but it’s not always. After you get to a certain level, there should be more “pin action”, which is a bowling term meaning the pins fly everywhere and the outcome is a strike. Some pin action would be nice every once in a while. The true reason I’m writing is to say THANK YOU very much for the infinite lives given during the COVID-19 pandemic, since Candy Crush Friends is my favorite thing to do anyway I love it even more❣️❣️blessings to you and your families, take care and be safe❣️

Please add jump to level #
Overall, the typical candy crush matching. Not great, but not terrible. Overall fun to play for what it is and you can progress and earn bonus items without paying at a reasonable pace. Seems to be less variety than the original and the “friends” animations and such can be annoying. Level difficulty is very uneven. A “hard” level might be beaten on the first try while it may take a week of regular trying to beat a “normal” level.... it’s all about luck and not about skill. My main complaint is that if you want to try to do any other levels than the ones you are on, you have the spend minutes (literally) scrolling through the map to get to the lower levels you’ve already beaten. If nothing else, please, Please, PLEASE, add a button or field that lets you type in the level number you want to go to.

Game needs to be more user friendly
First off once you burn through the gold you receive at the beginning of game play you can’t win more unless you want to pay real cash to break the piggy bank. I must call BS on that aspect. Board extras are a joke as well receiving lollipops to help defeat a board are impossible to acquire. Opening gift boxes to build up points for such things is too slow a process. Acquiring lollipops should be easier for the game player. Boosters do very little combing two of the sprinkle coated chocolate balls do nothing dramatic. Making one is tough making two is tougher making two next to each other is a miracle. Combining the two should clear the entire board of everything; pieces, obstacles, jelly covering octopuses, and should spread the entire board with jam. Again, this just another game that is fun to play until you need assistance and the only way to get assistance is to shell out real cash.

Candy Crush Friends
This game is absolutely fantastic! I love how we’re getting to know the characters/friends. Tiffi’s my favorite so far! She’s the cutest animated 6 year old I’ve ever seen. Plus, who doesn’t like to have their screen surrounded by an adorable animation screaming at you and jumping around in different costumes? I love how the puzzles are all combined with previous CC games. We can spread jam, rescue animals, and a ton of other things. This game is so much better than any of the other CC games, in my opinion. I love it and I’m so glad I decided to try it out. I didn’t give it 5 stars though because I wish there were easier ways to get lives when we run out (without ads). There’s also no message area to get the lives your friends send. Other than that, keep up the amazing work with this one, King!

I love this game. Unfortunately Oh no! Virus glitches are here.
I am good at this Candy Crush Friends because I feel so proud of myself for you all. Well the thing is that I have a problem with the virus glitches after I updated my IPad programs. The game price accounts didn’t seem to get shown up. I tried to use my tokens to use 5-move retries after I lost 5 lives in this game. Now it wouldn’t let me try this again. Some other gaming price accounts of online rubies, coins, gold bars and more tokens are still loading too slow for a whole day long because of those stupid downloading viruses or bad glitches. So anyway, Will you do something for me, pretty please?🙏 you people are the wise fixers! I believe in you guys.

Nice in the beginning.....
I’m at level 403, so I’ve given it a good try. The game is enjoyable and I don’t mind it being challenging. I’ve spent a bit of money, as I don’t expect a game to be entirely free. The issue is that once you get to these levels, each and every level takes days, weeks to get through. Most you can’t get through at all anymore without spending a ton of money, as the prices for gold or helpers is astronomical. If I have to pay money to get through a level, then what’s the point of playing. Paying to get through one level, just to pay more to get through the next and then the next isn’t enjoyable. I’m deleting the game. And unfortunately, it’s like this with all the Candy Crush games. I play Toon Blast, which is challenging, but not insanely so. Even at high levels. They’ve mastered the fine line between keeping the game interesting, players engaged and spending money here and there but not making it insanely difficult.

Fun Game with a few bugs
There is the good and the bad. Good: This game is fun and addicting. The graphics and animations are smooth. I love the bonuses as you are often rewarded for advancing. Bad: There are a couple of bugs that happen frequently. The map keeps going black. The game continues but the map is gone and there’s just a black screen. Another is my profile icon changes to another players icon when I pass them. For both issues I have to restart my phone. For the icon issue, after the reboot I have to take another step to go into my account settings and change the pic. Also, I love the friends help but sometimes they interfere with pieces that I have lined up for creating super pieces. The player should have control over when to have your friend help you instead of them auto assisting and messing up potential game moves.

I enjoy this game so much and at times I play so much it feels amazingly addictive. What separates me is when I need to pay for my stars/coins that I played long and at times hard for collected in the Piggy Bank for $3.99. It can keep me from playing this game and paying to break the piggy!!! This may possibly be my first and last time I submit a review about the game. P. S. — I changed my rating because my true “Nickname” can’t be used according to the error message I received. It’s being used (by me), so I must select another name if I choose to send in my review...I doubt very much if there’s many others playing this game that spells their name the same and coincidentally use the same two numbers.

Glitch?
Level 440 seems to be impossible to beat. I refuse to purchase boosters. I’ve been at this level for literally a week now, and can get the last heart within one block but not to the finish. It’s truly frustrating when you combine a color bomb with a stripe, blow up the ENTIRE play field but the stars move NOWHERE because they haven’t been bumped directly. Like, seriously, what’s the fun in that? I’d rather quit playing than be aggravated. This is supposed to be a stress RELIEVER not stress INDUCER! UPDATE: After posting this late last night, I’ve finally passed the level in question- the first attempt today. Suddenly the “random” colors and such seemed to be much more helpful than before. Could it be that an algorithm was tweaked just a bit? Whatever the case, thanks for the boost. Still leaving it 3 stars for the oh-so-slow earn rate of boosters.

Love this game
I love this CC version more than the previous ones and have noticed the recent updates (no more pregame bouncing around! Thank you!). Im on level 577 and have not had to spend a penny to get there, so IDK why others are complaining about that. With that being said, I have three suggestions: 1- Make it easier to see when friends are requesting lives. I don’t think people even know the option is there. 2- Make it easier to earn lives other ways!! 3- This one is more of a complaint. I play this game A LOT. Probably way too much, but it’s my temporary “escape” from the day. Sorry, not sorry. Yet my Daily Reward resets back to day 1 every few days as though I missed a day, and I guarantee you this hasn’t happened. Please fix this!

Great game love love it would recommend
It’s a great game undeniably but there would be times when playing with yeti he would completely throw his wrapped candy on the other side of the playing board from the objective, so let’s say it’s spread the jam or free the octopus if I have a few more left and all I need is a well placed wrapped candy to win, he would 5 times out of ten, throw it on the other side of the board (even if there was closer blue candy's to my objective) also he typically avoids throwing his wrapped candy next to a candy bomb (have to tried or tested letting the player control where the special candy is thrown into the board?) if not it’s just a suggestion, it’s still a great game overall I just hope you look into yeti and fix how he decides to throw his wrapped candy.

Amazing!!!😻🍫🍬🍭🍪
I love Candy Crush Friends! I thought it was called CCF because you played with your friends like Words With Friends so i didn’t want to get it. I used to have CCSaga and i was stuck on a level and it was getting frustrating, so i went to the App Store and decided to try out this little beauty. After minutes of playing I was hooked! I realized that the “Friends” were the Yeti, the little girl, the nutcracker, etc. I love how they help you out!!! The yeti is my favorite🌨 All of the characters are super cute! I have the tiger costume for the little girl (Tiffi) I look forward to getting more costumes🙂 Right now I am on level 50 it’s not too hard but not too easy and i really enjoy it!!!! Love this game!!!!!!! 😻😻😻🍭🍫🍬

TOO EXPENSIVE!!!
Why do I Say it’s TOO EXPENSIVE? Because right out of the shoot you earn a Piggy Bank & You fill it full of Gold Bars only to be Charged $3.99 to Break the darn thing!! What’s that?? WE earned the right to break It!! I know from playing other Candy Crush Games they got Too Expensive to play and that this will come up,that other charges will come, but I’ll bet you that they WON’T let this Review get posted because it’s a Negative Review & I bet I would win!! They Don’t like negative reviews. Just telling the Truth and King Games creators knows that I’m right. Listen, there are A Lot of people that Like their games and really love to play them but don’t have the extra money to Keep Paying out a lot of Dollars to play their games but Love Playing Them. So try giving people a break even if it’s just a token here and there!! Just Sayin. It Will keep us playing. Again, just Sayin.
